Elevending
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Note
Help, boss told me to take care of the noodle store while he goes abroad to try selling pizzas from some papa dude. I told him to check if rent was due. Landlord's going crazy from the overdue letters rn.
Welp, not my problem, I'm not getting paid enough for this. Thanks for taking care of the store again, I'll pay you back on your birthday I swear.
Totally your fav brother,
Tim
About
Elevending is a tower defence shooter based on the popular Pokemon type match ups, grass, water, and fire! I took heavy inspiration from the open space given for enemies rather than a set path, based on the game Flower guardin and the manual control for towers based on Farmers Incoming!
The game consists of 9 levels, each rated on the amount of enemies you kill, except for level 9, which is instead based on the health you have remaining.
Wishing you the best of luck, and I hope you enjoy the game!

Install guide (if you're having problems)
Windows
- Download file and unzip to find .exe game and .pck file, try to run the .exe file (make sure that the .pck file and .exe file are together
- If Windows "protects your PC" with Windows Defender SmartScreen
- Click "more info" > click "run anyway"
- Unfortunately in order to bypass this page I need to get the game codesigned, which is a lil too expensive for me right now. For now, you'll have to put up with this page ;w;

I love the art style and the game mechanics make it very tactical. I agree with kadable that the jump to level 5 is very large. I like the addition of new mechanics each level however when it comes to flying only enemies, it does make the second the vending machine pointless and the level much harder.
Apart from that difficulty, the game looks great!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Could I ask that in situations with flying enemies, did you get to the part of the game where there was a mix of the two? I thought that at times like that having the player multitask would be fun but was it times in the later game where there were only flying enemies in game?
The start of level 5 was when there were only flying enemies and I thought that it was very hard. Later when there was a mix I enjoyed the multitasking.
oooo. I thought that only including air enemies would force the new mechanic, but the difficulty spike does make sense. Thank you! :>
Very fun! Loved what I played, the gameplay was very fun, I loved the addition of new mechanics in each level, and the graphics and concept were very charming and wholesome. Pun title is great as well :D
I did get stuck on the level where flying enemies were introduced. The fact that I couldn't use the stun and had to manually aim felt a bit unfair, maybe autofiring could do half damage to flying enemies? And the stun doesn't need to not work on them, they're buff enough dammit.
Collecting packages and all the effects when shooting enemies were very satisfying, and the animation when you lose is very cute. Overall a very fun experience :)
PS: Please nerf level 5 so I can beat the game :(
Level 5 would be difficult to balance sorry :c against the rest of the game I thought that it would be a good step up, but I'll take note of the difficulty spike, I'm still getting used to game progression in general.
If you are able to get past level 5, I'd love for you to try the electric turret that comes from the next level, as I feel like that it might make the experience against air units easier.
Thanks for playing overall though :D your feedback is always super good.
